Daniel Kraft: Physician-scientist, Inventor and Entrepreneur.

Dr. Kraft has over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation. Daniel Kraft is the Faculty Chair for Medicine & Neuroscience for Singularity University and is the Founder and Chair of Exponential Medicine, a program which explores convergent, exponentially developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare. His various TED Talks have over 1 million views. Daniel was named a member of the inaugural class of the Aspen Institute’s Healthcare Innovator Fellows.

Christine Roussel

Dr. Christine Roussel is a board certified oncology pharmacist and the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Doylestown Hospital in Pennsylvania where she is responsible for clinical program development and compounding activities. Dr. Roussel also serves as adjunct professor at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Expert in hazardous compounding, Dr. Roussel received her Bachelor of Science in Toxicology and her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences.


Dr. Jeffery A. Johnson is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, having gained extensive experience in a wide array of pharmaceutical care provision, both from military treatment facilities as well as from his early work within community-based and hospital-based ambulatory care. His most recent adventures in compounding have been focused upon reviving the appropriate and proper application of well-documented, specialty compounding practices within the area of operations. Dr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Purdue University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy.

Zahra Mehdizadeh Kashi

Dr. Zahra Mehdizadeh Kashi is a board-certified molecular immunohematologist with nearly 25 years of experience in clinical laboratories, biologics, and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Kashi is a highly-sought clinical laboratory consultant, with dozens of peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, as well as numerous invited presentations. She is currently an inspector for the College of American Pathologists and an expert witness on genetic identity. Dr. Kashi holds a doctorate degree in molecular immunohematology from Portland State University. She completed her doctoral thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Heinrich at Oregon Health Sciences University. She also completed the Michigan Ross Executive Program at the University of Michigan.

Vassilios Papadopoulos

Vassilios Papadopoulos is currently serving as dean of the USC School of Pharmacy. Prior to this appointment, he served as executive director and chief scientific officer of the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre in Montreal. A noted scientist and innovative leader, Dr. Papadopoulos has published over 300 papers, holds numerous patents and serves on many national and international advisory committees. For nearly a decade, Dr. Papadopoulos led initiatives at McGill University Health Centre’s research arm, including Translational Research and Intervention across the Lifespan, which resulted in over $300 million in federal and provincial grants to build a state-of-the-art facility for clinical and biomedical research.

Vanessa Pinheiro

Mrs. Pinheiro is a compounding pharmacist with over 19 years of experience, which she applies as a consultant for MEDISCA Network’s Technical Support Services Department and for LP3 Network. Mrs. Pinheiro has specialty training in non-sterile compounding, pharmaceutical technology, cosmetology, and veterinary compounding. She was a Surveyor and Standards Committee member of Brazil’s National Association of Pharmaceutical Masters, a non-profit organization that oversees customized pharmaceutical preparations. Mrs. Pinheiro received her Master’s degree in Science from the University of São Paulo and taught at the College of Pharmacy at the University Suprema in Brazil.


Mrs. Scharpf has 13 years of experience in compounding preparations. Since graduating with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy in 2010 from Kingston University in London she has intensified her knowledge in this area. She is a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Pharmacists, where she pursues several roles in medication management and geriatric pharmacy. Additionally, Mrs. Scharpf is the owner of the compounding pharmacy Apotheke Scharpf in Sonthofen Germany, offering services in a variety of different areas such as pain management, hormone replacement therapy, geriatric and pediatric care as well as optimisation of medication.
